Well we did it again in 2008 and finally, mother nature came threw with perfect weather conditions. The fishing was tough but that's why they call it competion and The Winthrop Lodge of Elks Members showed what they are made of by taking 4 of the top 6 places on the leader board With Jerry McCarthy of The Winthrop Lodge taking first place with a 26lb 4oz striper for first place and for the first time winning  the coveted Irving Streeter Trophy plus $250 along with $1,000 first prize.

The after party was a huge success with a great Raffle, BBQ and CRAZY JEFF the DJ who donated his time and sound.
